Hot, Hot, Hot, What?
Monday, July 3rd, 2006It appears to be boiling all across Europe at the moment and, for once, the UK isn’t excluded. Perhaps that’s something to do with me being out of the country this week…
I’m currently in Riva Del Garda, getting in three days of hard, hilly riding with Paul Turner (from Maverick) and some Kiwi friends of his before Ferrentino and I zip up towards Munich to see the 2007 Specialized presentation. Now folks who know me will attest to the fact that I’m not a morning person, but today we were riding before 8am to beat the heat - which still caught up with us because we had a three hour road and fire road climb… At least it was then followed by a whole hour of descending… So, I’m not complaining, OK?
