From Eurobike to SSWC to Fort Bill
Monday, September 3rd, 2007Our journey back from Eurobike took in nearly every form of transport there is, ironically excluding the bicycle… We left Friedrichshafen on the 7am (local) ferry to Romanshorn, Switzerland, then a train to Zurich Airport, then a plane to Schiphol in Holland and another one an hour later to Glasgow. Arriving at 4pm, we then got in our hire van (left at the long stay after an all night drive up on our way out) and drove to Aviemore for the Singlespeed Champs, arriving around 8pm. Trying to mentally slow down after 14 hours of solid travelling is very hard…
Fortunately some bike riding and fresh air the next day did a great job of bringing Matt and I back to earth.
